Heavy Rider Average

If you are over 190 pounds, read below. If you're using these pedals on a kid's bike, or if you're a very casual rider under 190 pounds, ignore them. I weigh 215 pounds and regularly commute to work (and do heavy weekend trips) on a folding bike using these pedals. Furnished. Something I've noticed about these pedals over the past 6 months is that while they are significantly stronger than any plastic/nylon folding pedals, they have a tendency to loosen/sag. The design of these pedals requires that you regularly tighten the two Phillips screws as they will loosen and the pedal will wobble with use. The rocking becomes so strong that you can feel the incline of the pedals beneath your feet. I replaced them with KOOTU folding mountain bike pedals. They cost almost twice as much but look and feel a lot better for my 215 pounds under pressure when pedaling. Also, KOOTU pedals don't suffer from the same design problem.
