My new found kitty decided on EAT and needle and thread. Yes, you are crazy!?! She's wild and doesn't seem to realize she's just had major surgery. cone of shame? An alligator rolls, sways like a fish out of water until it can get out of it. Yes. DO NOT do this after surgery. These cat overalls have made our life less stressful. She could use the tray and everything. And I didn't have to worry about her popping the threads, thrashing about like a maniac, or chewing on the threads. She graciously wore overalls for 7 days. Then she faked a limp, which of course forced me to remove my overalls to check for injuries. Overall removed, no limp. jumpsuit, sluggish. On the eighth day, she magically removed the thing from herself. One piece. Like, still velcro together and everything. Do not ask. I don't know how she did it. However. The 7 days she wore were stress free for me because she couldn't lick or chew her wound but could still move normally and didn't over dramatize when trying to undress it like she did with the pubic cone. In general, these overalls saved us.
