A reliable paring knife, no complaints about design and function. BUT the manufacturer's presentation is beyond over the top for a simple $20 knife. Extra packaging (layered gift box with magnetic closure), promotional brochure and a ridiculous "pin" (?). This is a good $20 knife. Eliminate excessive and unnecessary presentation/packaging and shave a few dollars off the price of your knife. Note that the knife came with fairly extensive longitudinal scratches on the blade, no doubt due to some debris in the thick plastic sheath/blade guard. The knife is included. Doesn't detract from the knife's function or usefulness, but just seems inconsistent in allowing the blade to be scratched rather than over-representing the knife. That said, this knife is still a good buy as it offers materials, construction, and cutting abilities that are at least half the price of big brands.
