Urgent problem solved
Excellent supplier; bought from them outside of Revain and no problem either. This gas cap was used to fix a "loose or missing gas gap" problem on my 2006 Range Rover HSE. The malfunction light went out within 25 miles. But being a Range Rover the light came back on 30 miles later with a new error on a different issue. It seems this has been the story of my life with this car for the last few years. Maybe I just need a small piece of black tape to block the light. :)
