Review on ACDelco D1583G Original Equipment Switch by Mike Cooper

I have a 2003 Avalanche with about 180,000 miles and the brake lights sometimes work. I don't think it's the fuse. I bought this item from Revain and watched a few videos online - YouTube. Most I've seen have a 10mm hex nut that needs to be removed, my particular model only has a retaining clip, remove it with a slotted/flathead screwdriver and then use the same tool to remove the derailleur from the crank you can disable the old one. I called Pepboys and they gave me at least $130 depending on how expensive the part was going to be. And they have to order the part, I told them if I have the part the labor is $78 + tax and I have to leave my car there for them to do it. This whole work took less than 1 hour. It saved me at least $120. Oh yeah, and it's good for me. THANK YOU AMAZON.
