Any tweeter is better than no tweeter/stock tweeter. They're definitely doing their job. They're very loud, which is great for certain genres of music. But with rock or country, cymbals and tall hats literally hurt your ears when the volume is cranked up. I turned off the treble with my main unit but it's still very loud and harsh. If you're more into rap/edm, you might like them better. However, they are certainly very good if you never turn up the volume! They are also particularly large, with an installation depth of almost a full inch. So if you're trying to fit them into a pole or whatever, it can be tricky. Overall they're not bad, but as a rock musician they were too loud when I turned the volume up.
