I ordered this litter hoping it would neutralize odors and be a more environmentally friendly litter that my cat might prefer over clay. Unfortunately I was severely disappointed. First, the smell of lavender isn't very good, it smells very chemically and doesn't drown out the smell of kitty litter. I clean the litter box every day and I still have the typical cat urine smell. Second, and this is the worst, I now have cockroaches! Apparently, corn based litter can serve as a food source for little devils and has lured a lot of little roaches into my litter box! I live in South Florida so a roach here or there is typical due to the warm weather but it looked like an infestation! Every night when I was putting away my cat box, I would see a roach or two running out. I was really hoping this filler would be a good alternative to clay, but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone, especially those living in warmer climates!
