Didn't want to buy hardware online as it wasn't much cheaper than the local store. These lag screws were not properly cut when received. I was looking for a heavy duty 3/8" screw to hang some heavy wood shelves. When I got them there were no actual spiral threads. You can see they were trying to be cut, but the thread depth was probably 1/32". Actually, I would screw in a cheap 2" x 4" soft pine bobby pin.
