Review on 🚲 Go Aero Hitch-It Double Bike Carrier System in Black - Model 731138 by Loren Schmidt

This product has allowed me to mount a bike rack for two adults on my WaveRunner trailer in front of the cargo box and behind the jack assembly. The rack required some experimentation with height adjustment to allow the two bikes to be set up so that the handlebars, pedals etc didn't get in each other's way, but it worked when the height was offset and the bikes were mounted on the handlebars to the side of Seat. Since the bike straps don't actually lock, but slide over the 'wheel hanger pins', I simply used a bike cable lock to hold the bikes together for some security. This lack of holding power is a small detail but was the only reason I didn't give the product 5 stars. The wheel straps hold the bikes in place, and the bikes barely moved during the 1,100 miles of the first test. This rack will not replace a high quality Yakima or Thule rack, but it will get the job done at a very reasonable price when a hitch mounted bike rack is not an option when towing a trailer. I also tried the Stromburg Carlson bike bunk. as a solution for transporting my bikes on a waveguide trailer, and despite the solid construction, the bikes hung awkwardly at about 6 feet forward. Hitch-It shelves were a much better shelving solution.
