I've been looking for a good pillow for my cats to live in a shelter for a long time. I just put it on her bed with comforters and it helped heat it up nicely with the heat lamp installed. I'm glad I chose this one and will buy it again. I tested my hand on high mode to make sure it wasn't too much. I would suggest doing this depending on your pet and the place you are using it. I wish I had found this one sooner. While satisfied, the kittens too.
