I used this with dot not realizing that all my dots are obviously smaller than the current gen. However, I was very impressed that I was able to get this to work with my little dot, even upside down. I needed this to fit in the top receptacle of my outlet because I had a power transformer in the bottom. I wanted to free up space in the bathroom. I wrapped the cable as shown in the picture and was able to connect it upside down. Since this is really meant to be used vertically and my dot was smaller I was afraid my dot would fall but it didn't. However, to ease my anxiety in the long run, I added velcro to the back of my Dot and this mount. could both work to save space and serve as cable storage for my older number.
