Works after adding other double sided tape

I followed the directions using the alcohol pad to clean the spot on my dash then waited a few minutes for that to dry then removed the 3M sticker plastic and held it to the dash for 1.5 minutes and when I took my hand away the whole disk came with it so I ended up having to use double sided gorilla tape to stick it to the dash. After that the suction stuck well to the disk and holds in place well.
