Like all Giro helmets I've tried on, this one fits exceptionally well. While I like the ball-and-socket MIPS integration, I'm not interested in testing if it works any better than the "more traditional" MIPS insert found in older or less expensive helmets. What I like about the ball and socket design is that it feels more like you're tightening the EPP onto your head rather than just tightening the liner, resulting in a more secure fit. The price is more than I want to spend, but it's better to invest in a helmet than almost any other cycling gear.
