Review on Irwin Tools 1901035 Marples Laminate by Alex Barr

Really high quality Irwin/Marples

Woodworker. This should be your next cutting mark (Irwin Marples), let me explain. I bought a Freud cutter/edger, a white cutter of the same type and Irwin (marples are important) and flush tested all of them. Trim is cut approx. 1/4" x 3/4" Baltic Birch. Freud cut like butter, but the birch glue left a very small nick, the white made the cut without a nick, but the tool was warm after the cut, which tells me it wears out quickly. But Irwin/Marples? The bit is not only smaller in diameter. , and cheaper than the other 2 options. 1) The bit did not warm up (barely warmed up), cut like clockwork and left no trace of a bit nick at all. I don't know anyone but after this test all my parts belong to this brand. Before they realize they have a great product and decide to raise their prices. Note: If you buy black Irwin bits you are on your own, only the blue (marples) version is good. Best regards
