Review on 🔵 Camco Mfg 40564 20 lb LP Tank Cover Single, Polar White by Raden Maldonado

This propane tank cap meets my needs. He is durable. I can easily open and close the propane valve without having to take the cap off. It looks good. It was pretty easy to put together. All parts that should be included were there. On the other hand. The lid latch is a bit wobbly and the hinge feels unreliable. I would worry about the hinge coming loose and the entire lid falling off. (I drilled a small hole in the lid, opposite the unused hole in the hull that was already there, and secured the lid to the hull with a loose cable tie.) There was no hole for the propane hose to connect it through the tank, so I had to drill my own. The instructions don't mention this. The design of attaching the entire assembly to the trailer tongue was minimal and appeared to offer limited protection from the entire structure swaying or even flying off in windy conditions. All problems are fixable, but it seems like a better design will solve them.
