What an awesome tool! I have always loved grilling veggies and making shish ka bobs but I hated to have to put everything on the skewers.took so much time and pieces would still fall of as they cooked. But not with this basket! It is not flat so the food is in a basket like holder and they dont get crushed when you close it. After you put the food in, put the lid down, then there is a little bar that slides from the handle to lock the top and bottom in place and basket wont open. Then you can turn the whole basket at once without worrying about anything falling out.things cook evenly with this too. It is large enough to hold 3 chicken breasts or a pound to 1 1/2 of asparagus sticks. I especially love to grill mushrooms in this. So happy with it.
