I bought this cleaner for my glasses. You are three years old, I have oily skin and eyebrows/eyelashes. I constantly clean my lenses and am afraid of damaging them. I put the glasses in the cleaning shaft and filled it with warm water. After 180 seconds I took them off and was shocked because they looked like they had worn spots. I found that the ultrasonic cleaner had shaken years of body oil out of the lenses. I washed them with Dawn and warm water and removed the dirt. I then rinsed the glasses in the cleaner for another three minutes and they were perfect. I thought for a long time that I had some scratches on the lenses and couldn't remove them. They must have something to do with the accumulation of fat on the body. "Scratches" are gone, but the lenses are like new!
