I am disappointed in these dies. They look beautiful but are very picky. The edges cut through well, the embossing on the liners looks great, but the decorative cutouts on the liners cut unevenly, some parts don't cut through. I tried rotating the paper to change the pressure points; If you use a pad, the thinner parts will cut through due to the extra pressure. A lot of paper wasted. Wax paper is a must. You definitely can't even work with cartridge paper, let alone cardboard, because the cutting edge is too small. I have other spell casters that I'm very happy with, but these were disappointing.
