***** Oct 2020 (10 month update) ****** This product is still working great. I didn't notice it skipping any commands or suffering any degradation. Mine is fully exposed to the weather, plugged into a street outlet, and secured to a fence. It looks as new as the day it was installed. I'm still more than satisfied considering it offers two sockets and ZWave for a great price. ***** February 2020 ***** My first review is below. The vendor (EvaLogik) has updated the device handler for this product and it now works as expected. I can control two outlets as separate items in the SmartThings app. I appreciate that they answered my questions quickly and accurately and delivered the upgrade they promised. I use this to turn on outdoor lights and an outdoor fountain on various schedules and when a motion sensor is triggered. I wanted two outlets so I could turn on the lights after dark but turn on the fountain any time of the day. I'm happy with how it works now. I will update the review with more information as the product ages. ****** Original Review ****** I am a SmartThings user and prefer to add Z-Wave devices to my network rather than the more common WiFi-only devices. The EVA-LOGIK two-socket outdoor plug seemed like a great alternative to the GE Z-Wave single-socket device (https://www.amazon.com/GE-Weather-Resistant-Required-Works-SmartThings-14284/ dp/ B06W9NWFM3), which I also own. Unfortunately, when I install the device, I don't get more than one outlet in SmartThings. I've added and removed the device multiple times with no luck. SmartThings lists two EVA LOGIK device handlers (one for "single outlet" and one for "double outlet"), but setting either one results in only one outlet being able to be controlled. I will say the packaging, build quality and installation were great. I have no complaints about the product other than the fact that it doesn't do what makes it special. I can control an outlet and the response time is fast. The range seems to be average for Z-Wave, which suits me. I contacted the seller and he replied that he could solve this problem in the next few weeks. I will update my review if they find a solution. So far I cannot recommend this product.
