Very good dashcam mirror for the price

I bought a dashcam mirror over a year ago and loved it so much I bought it for myself woman an SUV. This time I went with a different brand to see if there was a significant difference between the two. After ten days of use, here are my impressions: Pros: - Another tip, but be sure to connect and test everything before laying the cables - After the mirror has been placed in the desired position. For the first time, you have to manually adjust the front camera lens with your fingers. A 32GB mini SD card is included so you're ready to go from the start. But I strongly recommend getting a 64GB card, anything else can cause problems. - Fast installation. I attached the backup camera to the glass of the trunk of an SUV with double-sided tape. So it doesn't get dirty or wet. The higher position also reduces glare from the headlight camera at night rather than having it on your license plate. - My OEM mirror is 10 inch, so I bought this 12 inch mirror. It completely covers the original mirror and leaves enough space for the protruding camera lens. I even have a windshield sunshade and can attach it without bumping into the mirror. I have a towbar with two bike mounts. When backing up on two bikes with the OEM rear view camera, I can't see anything. Because I mounted this camera higher, I now have a top-down view when reversing. - When my cargo bay is filled with boxes, balloons or people I can't see in the rearview mirror - this fixes it. Problem.- At night I turned off the display (but the cameras are on). Although the screen isn't brighter than the car's infotainment screen at its lowest brightness, I prefer to turn it off at night. The large screen makes it easy to navigate and view recordings. The user interface was surprisingly easy to navigate. There is no application for wireless transmission of recordings. Therefore, you need to connect the miniSD card to your computer. Navigating from folders to files is pretty intuitive. Good value for money. I can't believe how fast technology is advancing and we can get a touchscreen dash cam mirror with GPS for just over a hundred dollars. - Excellent and responsive customer service. I had a few questions about the setup and they responded very quickly. Cons: The first thing I noticed after unpacking was that the memory card that came with it wasn't read. So I tried another memory card and encountered the same problem. I tried using the "Format SD card" option in the menu, but the card could not be read. So I took out the memory card, put it in the computer and saw that it was formatted in FAT32, you need to reformat it in EXFAT for it to work. As soon as I did that it found the card and it worked. The manual says there is an overlay option. Where you can use the mirror as a normal mirror and superimpose GPS/Date/Time on the off screen. I couldn't find this feature anywhere in the settings. - No automatic brightness adjustment. In modern vehicles, when the headlights are switched on, the rev counter and the infotainment system dim accordingly. But I understand that it can be an obstacle. I like to use the mirror in screensaver mode when the mirror's screen turns off after a minute. But I wish there was some sort of indicator that the cameras are recording. Maybe there's a little red dot somewhere. This can be added in a firmware update. From time to time you will need to contact support to see if a firmware update is available. But most people don't bother with firmware updates unless it's absolutely necessary. None of this is a showstopper, they're just minor quirks you can adapt to.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • I have no dislikes, everything is fine
