I have a Triumph Speed Twin motorcycle that weighs about 430 pounds with a full tank of gas and I can easily lift this motorcycle off the ground myself using this lift. I mainly use this lift to get my bike into a tight spot in the garage for storage. Note that the motorcycle is balanced on this small platform therefore it would not be safe to work on the motorcycle when lifted on this lift unless you secure it with zip ties or similar. There is also a picture of this jack in action, facing towards the motorcycle, with the jack crank between the engine and the front wheel. I do NOT recommend ever using it this way as this lift can wobble from side to side. Using this lift perpendicular to the bike is much more stable and if it tilts it will land on the front or rear wheel with less chance of tipping over. This product looks well made and the steel wheels will surely last you a lifetime. Product. It's also a big deal for its functionality and build quality. Highly recommended but again you need to be careful when lifting the bike on this lift.
