The product does not work.
I installed this control valve on my 2003 5.3 liter Chevy van. The control valve caused a high idle, causing the van to cruise at 35 mph without using the accelerator. I want to return this product, but the return window is closed. I ended up buying a new throttle body from GM since GM doesn't sell a separate idle control valve. This solved the problem. I would never buy this product again. The GM throttle body was $650 compared to the $21 I paid for the idle control valve. Very tempting, but the product causes a high idle.
