Was the correct part for my 2002 Flexfuel Tahoe 5.3L. Ease of installation. I think mine might be defective. Every time you start the truck, it revs up to 2000 rpm in a matter of seconds. Revain is sending me a replacement part. Hope it works right.

The IAC valve I received was faulty. The machine worked worse than with the old valve. The idle never dropped below 1200 rpm and rose to 3500 at times, which was quite dangerous. I had to drive with the brakes on at any speed under 45 mph. A week later I went ahead and spent $140 on a factory valve that actually works.

Complete bullshit. Bought installed does not work. Sent back for exchange. Good customer service sent with no problems. Today I decided to replace it with a new one, same problem. Wasted so much time I'm still working on my old one and the new one is broken. The best thing is that I respected the allotted time to return the product.

Installed on my 2002 Tahoe 4.8L. Due to uneven idling, only when the air conditioning pump is switched on. Before installation, I completely cleaned the throttle body and the mass air flow sensor. Worked great for 1 day. But every time I started the engine, it would climb to 1500 rpm for a few minutes before dropping. I couldn't even put it into gear until he calmed down. This is a fraction of the cost of a genuine GM part. one. I returned it. I sent my old one back for now.

I installed this control valve on my 2003 5.3 liter Chevy van. The control valve caused a high idle, causing the van to cruise at 35 mph without using the accelerator. I want to return this product, but the return window is closed. I ended up buying a new throttle body from GM since GM doesn't sell a separate idle control valve. This solved the problem. Purchased on 11th November 2020 for my 2002 GMC Sierra 5.3L. It ran great for about 2 weeks and then the idle went crazy at start up to 2000rpm! After a few seconds the idle would slowly drop and upon shifting into gear it would start idling again! I struggled with this thing for 2-3 weeks and after cleaning it I put the old one back in! Now it won't idle anymore but still needs to be replaced as it will slow down from time to time to the point of stopping! I guess I'll be standing on two legs…
