I just moved into a third floor apartment with these beautiful windows and corner skylights as the focal point. Spoiled with removable windows and a ground floor apartment for five years, I've grown accustomed to the joy of sparkling clear windows. Especially in combination with my rainbow foil from Rainbow Symphony! So naturally I started looking for cleaning supplies for this room. I went with a regular strength magnet because these windows, despite being double glazed, seemed thin enough. I doubted it would be strong enough for thick skylights, but even that was a good mount. Of course, there wasn't much I could do about all the hard water buildup on the skylights, but I made a small difference by going through it twice—first with soap and water, and then bleach. Of course, some dirt is between the panes, and that's how it will be. In general, I am very satisfied with this instrument and will pass it on to my mother, who also lives in an attic apartment. I didn't even have to change sponges during this process. Also, the rope was very important. Of course I dropped it several times (probably to the chagrin of my downstairs neighbors)!
