Two words: buy! I love my Makita tools, but I have a hard time using them for jobs like cutting cement board or concrete. I usually buy cheap but good enough corded tools. The reason is that I don't like having extra chargers and different batteries flying around. Now on that: I had a hunch when I saw the plug on the product images and I was right: it takes Makita LXT batteries. Conversely, the supplied battery does not fit on the Makita charger. But Makita packs in a small charger that comes with a coffee grinder. I don't want to ruin my expensive batteries with a cheap charger, but I have to say that the included charger is actually very cleverly designed. There are even holes for wall mounting. Something I've always missed with original Makita chargers. How does a coffee grinder work? It works. I really like black, but it also hides some imperfections. For example the casting of the front engine cover or the slightly curved vertical handle. But it's also a lot cheaper than the cool brands. The locking mechanism is a classic thread with an included key. Hence five stars from my side. Did I mention that black looks cool?
