Pure Honesty *Updated*

Due to very nice customer service and slightly better product quality I originally gave this speaker 2 stars, I have upgraded to 4 stars. The company contacted me after my initial review and sent a new speaker hoping to change my mind. I still stick to a lot of my previous reviews but a few things have changed. Continuing with my review, the sound quality is much better, as I suspected that the internal settings were wrong, causing the sound to be muffled by the high frequencies. Bluetooth lag is gone, not sure if it's an updated bluetooth or if the first one was just buggy. And I'm still VERY impressed with the volume, it's loud! I haven't had a chance to test the battery so I don't know if it will last for several hours as stated in the description. * Big disappointment! * It has a USB-C port for charging. The speaker is ok, it has an auxiliary jack and a karaoke mic jack, which is pretty cool, and it has a standard USB port so you can plug in an outdated MP3 player/music drive, which I think is in is okay. BUT you can't charge your phone through this USB port, and since it says it has a battery pack, you might think it can charge your phone (considering that 95% of portable speakers act as a backup power bank and this speaker will cost you over $50 ). It provides enough power to keep your phone up to date when you're not using the phone, but it doesn't put out enough power to charge. Overall, this is a loud, decent backyard speaker. This is not a camping or beach speaker as it is not a portable charger. The material is cheap but not bad. Depending on your needs, this speaker could be just what you need! I see a lot of reviews from people saying it's great and maybe it's for you, but for $56 I expect a bit of quality. As for the volume: it's loud! For trust! I'm not complaining. On the other hand, Bluetooth is garbage. Is the volume control lagging, increasing or decreasing by one volume level a few seconds after you change the volume? You that sucks! The delay is also very annoying! Sound Quality: The speaker can definitely reproduce good quality, but the internal settings are wrong, the bass is nice, but the treble is too low, so it sounds a bit muffled. So the music isn't overly audible at high volumes, but the dialogue in a movie scene is extremely noticeable because you can barely make out what they were saying. Movie night of a special kind. Structure: pure cheap plastic. A wall throw or a good fall is sure to crack or break something. Overall: I'm not impressed, it's big for nothing, the moment you pick it up you feel the light plastic and cheap body. These smaller 4 locomotives look nice and sturdy and have plenty of space. I think it looks cool. i give it back
