Used next to my desk as a side table for my desktop tower and accessories. Holds my Fractal Design Define R6 perfectly on a wooden surface. About an inch or so longer front and back than the case; about 1.5 inches wider on each side than the body. The weight of the case holds the shelf well. I would make sure to put anything heavy on two wire mesh shelves. Although each shelf comes in one piece, on closer inspection it becomes apparent that it has been manufactured independently from two bars and a grid panel and then simply spot welded at 6 points throughout the shelf. I have a spare battery that lies on its side, it's slightly wider than the grid plate so it's resting on two poles. If it were completely lying on a piece of net, it would surely have collapsed by now. As I moved the backup battery across the shelf, I felt it flex and sag.
