Very handy for camping but I doubt the durability of the hook. It was already bent when I received the hammer. I was able to bend it straight easily, but I wouldn't be surprised if it bends again or comes out of the hammer all the way. However, I have used it while camping and it has worked well. Worst case scenario, even if the hook falls out completely, I still have a usable rubber mallet. I'm considering getting another post puller though, like this gray outdoor camping, bivouac, shed, shed, tarp, peg puller, but not before the one on the hammer fails. I like having both in one tool as there is one less thing to remember when camping.
