I used this to cut a hole in a brick wall and it worked great. As others have said, the center drill will fall out of the hole saw after a short period of use. I was drilling in grass so the set screw was lost forever. Luckily I didn't need the pilot bit anymore. Maybe a bit of Loctite will prevent that. A little annoyance about the cost of a hole saw.
