Maybe for a bike but not a motorbike
It might work for a pedaled bike, but as a motorbike alarm it's totally useless. At maximum sensitivity you can lock the handlebars and shake the bike without any reaction. When you call an answer you will get a small warning tone. When you have the alarm fully open it's quite loud, but if it's hidden at all the sound is significantly reduced. It's hard to imagine this really holding anyone back
