What I was looking for was a simple work clock that was easy to set up. To my surprise, the military watch arrived with the time and date already set. The only problem was the fabric strap was too long for my 7.5" wrist so I emailed the company asking if the loops could be cut off without untangling them but got no response. Curiously, the instruction booklet, clear and legible, contained detailed information and drawings for removing the links from the metal band, but nothing for shortening the woven links. Luckily I found the strip was long enough to return to the solid metal clips and that fixed the problem. However, an unforeseen problem was that the date didn't change and doesn't change even though I finally got the dial in the right position to reset it, but that's not a big problem as the small window of time and date is too wide for the date. being picky about this old man waiting for cataract surgery. It's too early to tell if he'll keep working, but first he tells me how much time I really need.
