This set absolutely works. I had a Macbook Pro that I was going to give away and needed to remove all the stickers that had accumulated over the past 6-7 years. I was hesitant because I didn't see any actual reviews or questions about the Macbook and I didn't want to damage the finish. Using a sticker remover I was able to peel off the stickers with a little patience. I tried using Goo Gone with a washcloth to remove the sticky bits afterwards but to be honest it didn't have much of an effect. I've had much better success with hot water and a damp washcloth. I used Goo Gone as a last resort after I was done with a damp washcloth and it cleaned up the last bits. Sticker Removal Tips: - Be patient. If you hurry, you will have tears and make it difficult to remove the stickers. - exchange instruments; Sometimes one works better than the other. - Start at the widest part of the decal and slowly move the tool underneath in continuous back and forth motions while gently pulling on the decal. - Use a hot, damp washcloth to remove the slime for most jobs. - Finish with a sticky cloth and washcloth.
