Conclusion: moves a lot of air! I bought this fan to cool the back seat of my SUV for 2 small children in rear-facing car seats. This is of great importance for the rapid cooling of the rear seat. In fact, last week my "always hot" toddler asked me to turn off the fan because he was too cold. The only downside is that the speed is only 1. Great for my needs, would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a car seat rear vent. Update: It's been 3 months and it's still working great! Has held up well to almost daily use (less now in the fall) and the cord has not been damaged by a large dog regularly getting in and out of the hold or luggage. Update: 1 year old - still works the same as when purchased.
