🌬️ Enhanced SP570804 12V Oscillating Fan by Go Gear Review

Very loud but otherwise does the job. It gets really hot in my car in the summer and when my dog is in the back seat I know the air conditioning won't reach them. I installed it over the rear window so there is a cool breeze when I open the window and turn on the fan. He loves it very much and always bumps into it when he gets in the car, now he just begs me to turn it on! I just wish it wasn't so loud.

I've tried about eight of these. They don't make another fan that fits in my truck's cigarette lighter. But the brushes on the motor wear out and it stops working after about a year and a half, one only lasted 6 months. After about six months the bearings wear out and it starts to rumble and squeak. Then everything no longer works together. It's basically the same thing they sell at truck stops.

I put this in the back of my car so my daughter can blow fresh air around it (she sits in a rear-facing car seat so she doesn't otherwise get hit by the air ducts). It is very easy to turn on and off and gives me peace of mind that my daughter is not overheating. This is actually the second fan we've bought and the first one lasted over a year (and still works great). I bought this fan for my camper van and really wanted a fan that I can hear at night to block out others at the campsite and myself nice white to give noise. But this fan is loud, and not in a good way. It makes a buzzing noise that's a bit annoying, not the smooth fan noise you'd expect. But it works well and blows a lot of air. I don't know what others mean when they say it's "noisy". It's a fan, it moves the air that makes the sound. I have just returned from almost continuous use of this fan on a 5 day trip. This little fan won't win any awards, but it's very easy to use and gets the air moving. There is only one speed, which is about what I would expect a medium setting for a tiny fan. Yes, it's a bit noisy, but most of the noise comes from vibrations, which can be turned off. The cord is long so I can run it through the back of my truck to push the ac towards the dogs, or use it to circulate the air in half of my 16ft RV by hanging it on the fasten windows. Update. I bought this fan back on May 16th, it's been almost 2.5 months and it no longer works. There is a small fuse in the cigarette lighter so I ordered some fuses, replaced them, the new one blew so I assume there is a short somewhere. I consider it too fire hazard to try to use on my boat.
