The package came quickly and was well packed. The hammer is small, but that's ok, it doesn't need to be big to pierce leather. The punches are approximately 4 7/8" long and the overall size of the hammer is approximately 8 5/8" with a striking face approximately 7/8" in diameter. The hammer heads are attached with a threaded metal bolt. Hits are disappointing. They came dull which was no surprise at this price point. A big disappointment is the quality of the punches themselves. When thrown into my lathe for sharpening they show they are not round and wobble at the tip when they are This is especially true for the 0.5, 1, 1.5, 2 and 2.5mm punches as they appear to have been welded onto the main punch shank Also punches that are solid shaft are not round. This makes sharpening much more difficult. The shafts arrived mostly unfinished, with a rough texture and the size markings are very difficult to read, if not impossible on some. Generally they will get the job done, but with a lot of work. I wouldn't not buy again.
