It doesn't seem to mark at all - clumps well
This is kitty litter, I used it in a small plastic tube. To allow my cat to pee and poop and then add more stuffing in addition to her "fall". Because that's what cats do. This item is surprisingly light. It doesn't seem to have any smell, which is good, my cat doesn't like a box with a strong smell. I was also surprised that it is dark in color. I was expecting more of a creamy color but it's a dark grey.
