The slugs I have had in the past have had an open bottom but this one is closed. I'm not sure how this will work in the long run because sometimes the snakes shrink or get tangled and that will be difficult to manage. But perhaps this design will not face this problem. The snake is a bit thin and deformed in a couple of spots, but you won't find it in this price range and length. It didn't clear my constipation right away, but it cleared up shortly after I crawled through it. I think I hit a blockage, but the tip of the snake wasn't enough to clear it right away, instead dislodging it enough to do the trick after I drained the water.
