Did a fantastic job.

Sink drains clogged. Between this snake and the wet/dry vacuum, I got it through and got rid of it in about an hour. I also don't know anything about plumbing so this should give you an idea of how easy it was to use. The gloves that came with it were good too, so I didn't get any foul smelling black mud on my hands. After that, simply clean the snake before putting it back in the holder.

That did it! Best in Drain Slugs

The slugs I have had in the past have had an open bottom but this one is closed. I'm not sure how this will work in the long run because sometimes the snakes shrink or get tangled and that will be difficult to manage. But perhaps this design will not face this problem. The snake is a bit thin and deformed in a couple of spots, but you won't find it in this price range and length. It didn't clear my constipation right away, but it cleared up shortly after I crawled through it. I think I hit aโ€ฆ

Best hand tools for cleaning the tub overflow

Thinner 1/4" cord makes it easier to negotiate tight turns. The reel body design allows for easy removal and storage without a lot of lint. I couldn't find a 1/2" hand snake from Getting Home Depot to get a few feet from the tub's overflow through the passageway I don't like using a powered snake as the force and vibration can be too great, damaging the drain pipe or splitting old sections of cast iron drain pipe I have reused this hand snake 3 times and it has worked well every time. Theโ€ฆ

Worked quite well - drain augers

Used it to clean the AC drain pipe, worked very well on the inlet, it was quite difficult to get it out but in principle if you are patient it will get the job done. Simply insert the cable if you feel resistance, twist clockwise and if you feel no resistance, insert it. Used the entire length, then tried to pull it out. He's stuck! OMG don't panic don't even force it just spin the wheel counter clockwise patient I mean it took me 40 minutes to get it out then in the end it had no resistanceโ€ฆ

nonsense. save your money Switch to electricity. The key to this hand-operated snake is a screw lock. Pull out 6 inches, lock, twist and push together until the coil finds its way - don't let it bend towards you, it will bounce and fly out spraying toilet water on you. Be patient. Try again. And again. We start, loosen the screw lock, pull out another 6 inches, twist until the spool sinks a little more. Repetition. Repetition. Repetition. All the while unscrewing and pulling, then screwing back
