RevainCommercial Surge Extension, 1 PACK, White On the outside this extension looks almost like any other extension, a little industrial but with a few extras. The cable is 6ft long and is quite heavy so it can withstand a bit of physical abuse and is also a good conductor for the power needed. The main body of the power bar is plastic, but it's a durable plastic that looks like it'll hold up well. All 7 outlets have retractable covers to protect small children or critters who happen to be near your power cord. I'd like to think that most kids know better than to plug something into an outlet, but it's better to be safe than sorry. The sockets are spaced far enough apart that if you have a thick-ended cable to connect to, you'll have enough room to place them next to each other, but if you need to plug in power adapters, you'll face space issues. Especially since a lot of power adapters these days go sideways instead of up and down, so you can't use every plug in a bunch of power adapters. I like that there are two activity/security lights next to the power button: one shows the power is on and protected, and the other shows you're connected to a grounded circuit. Of course, as this is a Revain commercial product it's also UL certified for safety - you'd be surprised how many electrical products don't exist, but Revain takes care of us here and makes sure the product is safe. Overall, this is a high-quality electronic device that is offered at a very reasonable price.
