I've had this product on my e-bike for about a year and have ridden it about 2500 miles. I mostly ride multi-purpose trails and back roads and don't use the features very often. I only use turn signals when I'm on a busy street and there's a car behind me, so they're not really useful. Good first. If it works, it's great. I feel a lot more comfortable knowing the car behind me can see what I'm about to do. However, there were several problems. Signals don't always turn on, and when they do, they don't always turn off, and you can't figure it out without stopping and looking around. The light does not always respond to the keyboard. I tried leaning to the side to create a clear signal path, which seemed to help for a while, then got so bad it wasn't worth using anymore. I opened up the keyboard to see if I could replace the battery, thinking the battery might be dead, but it wasn't meant to be replaced. Also, during use, the bracket that attached the lantern to the rubber mount broke twice in different places. I glued them back both times with 2-part epoxy and it worked, which probably made them stronger than they were originally. I should add that I am not a rough rider. I mainly ride on paved trails and roads and occasionally encounter the typical bumps you would expect. In the end I turned off the light. When you buy this product, please note that it has a limited lifespan, but it can work well for a while.
