Good, But Use Judgement When Giving Chewy Hide Treats

All four dogs absolutely get beside themselves when they see these in my hand. Could be one of the strongest positive responses I've ever witnessed. Since the response is across the board I'm assuming it's fairly universal. The dogs take a while to chew these out and often they get tired and drop them to get some water (apparently this stuff causes thirst). Most of us dog lovers now know Vets often say no rawhide and I respect that. However, I've always given my dogs stuff similar to this as they need something to chew for teeth cleaning, a bit of jaw exercise, and just plain fun. In years I've not had any problems with a variety of our dogs (other than sometimes in my smaller dogs these seem to upset their stomach of which I'm not sure since sometimes my dogs sneak one another's food and that could be it over rawhide treats?). These are definitely more refined and in now way nasty like old style rawhide treats. Heck, I'm not even sure if it's the same stuff at all? I'll sign off with my recommendation if you give these to your dogs just do some supervision. Like humans dogs can choke if they attempt to swallow something not chewed enough. Other than that I'd say my dogs simply go nuts for these chews and I like this small size the best for even our larger ones. For what it is I think it's one of the best products of it's kind.

Pros
  • Dingo Twist Sticks are affordable and won't break the bank
Cons
  • May lose flavor over time or after being stored improperly
