Okay, should be 4.5 stars. That's good, a few tweaks and they would be great. I don't like the position of the small screw that holds the top and bottom of the arm, if it went in from the side it would be ideal as it now rubs against the bottom of the kayak. While I apply some foam, let's see how well this works. The only other complaint is that the mounting holes are 2 inches apart, same lug width. But it's easy to miss because I had 2x4s lying around that I could cut and attach to a bobby pin for support. I burned myself before using the attachments that came with it, so I didn't even open them except for the mounting screws.
