Works Well for pH Meter

Works well when calibrated. I use this in my nutrient tank with esp8266, did a 7 4 calibration and it works fine. I bought this version because the consumer probe was out of stock. The probe that comes with it, which can be used to kill a burglar, is very sturdy and seems to last a long time if I take care of it. In addition, the sensor is designed for continuous immersion. This was my third analog pH meter I ordered, two others didn't work, one sensor was defective and the other board was stuck at one volt no matter what I did. So I broke down and raised money for this one and it was up and running in less than 20 minutes. I'm not having fun with this, but I also use filters and take a window of 50 samples and the median of the sample window. The volts are actually very stable, allowing me to reduce the sampling window to 5. As with all ADCs on microcontrollers, you must either ensure that the probe amplifier is isolated, or just run it on your own platform with no other sensors. Considering how cheap esp are these days this shouldn't be a problem. You will be exposed to all kinds of noise if you don't. No matter how good your module is, you will get erroneous readings due to ADC noise and interference from other sensors.

Pros
  • DFRobot Gravity: Analog pH Meter Pro V2 is specially designed to measure the pH of a solution and show the acidity or alkalinity. It is widely used in various applications such as aquaponics, aquaculture and environmental water testing.
