This year just didn't feel very Christmas-y at our home. My family has been trying to buy a new, larger home that fits us better, and I had jokingly declared last year when I took our tree down that it would be the last Christmas tree I ever put up in that house. Well, things don't always go as planned. Our son has outgrown Santa, both my wife and I had tough years at work, and no one was really feeling it. A couple of weeks before Christmas, though, I decided that I just couldn't let it pass without some sort of tree, so I bought this one as a half-joke, half-serious attempt to get us in the spirit.I put it up on a table in our living room and crowded a few gifts around it. It's easy to set up, looks exactly like the famed Charlie Brown tree, and it brought a little fun and a good memory into an otherwise blah Christmas season. I'd definitely do it again.
