I was surprised at first how snug and difficult it was to fit but after wearing it I was glad that it's so tight. It stays in place and doesn't move. I got it for my daily WORK Driver truck, a '99 Ram 3500. There is a scuff on the center console when getting in and out, right where my elbow goes. Not only has this cover got rid of the pinching I had from the worn original cover material, but I no longer have to use the towel I put in there that kept slipping and sliding all over the place. And my phone no longer slides off the console. It stays right in the middle where I put it. Yes this is a very basic case, the one I received is black with a fairly large Red Ram logo in the middle which is fine by me. My interior is black and gray and the logo adds a touch of style to an old truck. how well it wears and how well it washes when it gets dirty and dusty. But for $11 I'll probably buy another one just to have. although it is easy to change when this one is in the wash. and that should cut the wear in half if I keep swapping them out.
