This was a great replacement for the water filter housing in our RV. The hull that came with the camper broke during a very cold winter. Stupid of me that I didn't prepare him better for the winter! We found a "famous brand" replacement through Revain and other online retailers, but the cheapest price was around $50! No thank you. This Hydronix was the perfect half price replacement! Make sure you know what size fitting you need for your plumbing lines. This can be difficult to understand if you are unfamiliar with plumbing and piping. We have plastic fittings but I'm sure this will work well with metal fittings. Please note ours was only shipped in a Revain box. No separate packaging. This might be off-putting to some, but we were okay with it as it was a perfect fit. We strongly recommend it!
