I have had this machine for about a year now. It hasn't seen much use. Two HUGE problems with it, one of which is a very serious hazard. Problem 1: After a few months, the timer stopped working properly. I mean when you turn it on it will count down automatically unless you toggle the power button on/off a few times then it starts when you press it. However, it will not stop after the release. I had my doubts as the switch is working correctly through dyno testing. The device's motherboard has failed, which means I can disable the offending speaker/buzzer and use it without a timer. Problem number 2. Everyone thinks that the fuse protects the device, in reality it is not. That's a 10 amp fuse on a 1200 watt device. That alone should raise a red flag. BUT WAIT, here's the fuse kicker that ONLY controls the power switch built into the light when it's on! Yes, you read it right. Remove the fuse and turn on the device. It turns on as usual, minus the power button indicator. A simple test to show you that you have no protection (why I bought this device). Ridiculous, absolutely ridiculous that any manufacturer would do this other than fooling the customer with such an important item. This item will be scrapped, I recommend you don't make the same mistake I made when purchasing it. You'll regret it unless you "intend to use it" and it just sits in your closet after a few uses.
