Review on FilterLogic Replacement Refrigerator Filter 5231JA2002A GEN11042FR 08 by Esther Fisher

Brita filters are expensive so I was happy to find this cheap alternative from another manufacturer. Unfortunately, you get what you pay for. These filters are only half filled with filter material (it's like black sand) so they don't filter very well. But when you remove the sticker and install the filter, the black sand inside actually floats into the water tank. Looks pretty gross, almost like mold crawling into the water tank. If you turn the filter upside down, everything runs out. I will not buy this brand again and advise against it.
