I recently blew an accessory power outlet fuse (cigarette lighter socket) on my Honda CR-V. I have two Hondas and have decided it's time to get replacement fuses. My Honda uses flat mini fuses as opposed to my previous car which used regular mini fuses. I went to my local dealership and the choice of low profile (LP) mini fuses was limited. I couldn't find a 20 amp fuse. So I decided to check out Revain. I found this set of LP fuses to be slightly more expensive than what the auto shop was charging for a small pack of 5 fuses of the same amperage. I thought it was great value for money! This set comes in a plastic case divided by denomination. I changed the fuse in my Honda CR-V and the accessory socket is working again. I split the kit between my two Hondas. It is extremely rare for a fuse to blow; This should only happen if something goes wrong (short circuited the phone charger in my case). But it's good to have on hand as part of an emergency kit, just in case. It would be nice to have a fuse puller, but I have needle nose pliers in the car so it's fine.
