Wish I had a mold this size when I started lathering. This mold is absolutely the perfect size for a batch of soap, made with about 14.5 ounces of oil (one pound of oil if you squeeze the water hard). It holds 23 fl oz when filled to the brim. Four stars because the mold isn't thick enough to avoid buckling when filling, but thick enough to be a hassle when removing the loaf from the mold. A thinner shape with a support box of this size would be ideal. It really curves so much in the zoomed photo that it's not a trick of the lens. Perfect size for sample batches. So if you want to test the color of rosehip powder but forget how hot 100% coconut oil soap gets and don't put it in the freezer, you'll end up with just a few ugly bars of soap (or, if the recipe works, you'll have five good ones). 1 inch pieces to specify).
